so i whipped up a quick set for the driftwood. if you don't know what the driftwood is, it's the university of new orleans' school newspaper. my assignment was to shoot the married couple & family dorms that have been out of commission and just left to rot since katrina.
i felt like i caught something, just from being around the place. time for a shower!
decided on a spur of the moment stroll through downtown new orleans today. my feet hurt, but the shenanigans and photos were way worth it.
god, my friends are ridiculous...i'd have to say the highlight of the day was daniel and craig jumping in the elevator at one shell square, and causing it to stop. hilarious!
So you want to know a little about me?
I suppose I'll tell you. I am a freelance photographer based out of New Orleans. I've worked numerous jobs, one of which being for an event photography company called NolaOut.
I guess you could say that's where I got my feet wet in the photography game. I'm energetic, fun and a bit too playful, all of which I bring to my style and photos.
I have earned a degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans, with a concentration in Digital Media. Originally I had aimed to be a graphic designer, but somehow I wound up falling in love with photography. I say somehow, but I suppose my friends were the main influence and from there I've been snapping away ever since.
